The Wrap of Con

I once swore I’d never attend any event called a -Con. This weekend I broke that promise, going to KidLitCon to talk about the intersection of Kids Lit and the Internet. Werewolf Maggie talked about books, blogging and boots, I found out Betsy-Tacy is still going strong, I talked about the middle grade blog with our fearless leader, and I finally bought Kirstin’s book (which my wife grabbed first and is now reading). It is always fun to talk to other people who really care about kids books, so like with most conferences the best parts were between the sessions. I met teachers, librarians, authors, book bloggers, editors, and the Pope.
